Scope Lda. was founded in 1972 with the purpose of selling various products for commercial and military aviation, as well as for the defense area.

In 2007, Scope had a big turning point regarding its operation activity. Despite remaining partly related to aviation equipment, it took a different path by starting to manufacture products aimed at passenger comfort - such as cutlery kits, headrests and refreshing wipes.

After 10 years of experience, the need was felt to start manufacturing plastic products internally that were previously outsourced, in order to optimize and become more responsive to our customers. So, in 2017, Scope began the injection process.

In a pandemic year, much was discussed about the benefits versus problems caused by the use of plastics. It is indisputable that the world we live in depends on many applications for the use of plastic. But it is also undeniable that the final destination we give it is not ideal, jeopardizing our planet. With this in mind, we decided to embrace a project that would help to reduce plastics and the pollution derived from them - thus our partnership with Sulapac was born. Throughout 2020, we tested different Sulapac material recipes over various applications, with production starting in 2021.
